As Destek Patent, since 1983, we have been working for the protection of intellectual assets and for conversion into commercial value. We are also responsible for solving social problems and contribute to different social responsibility projects from health to education, from sports to arts.

Today, by placing “education” at the centre of our social responsibility approach, we have set our primary goal as “to contribute to Turkey’s intellectual capital by raising awareness of industrial property rights and increasing patent literacy”. With this goal, we have planned trainings for high school and university students that will firstly arouse their interest in the subject, encourage them to make inventions, and then raise awareness about its protection. Since we began our path to this journey, intellectual property rights-related applications have increased in these four years, approximately 18 times in Turkey, and these results have kept our self-determination and motivation for this project.

We would like to state that we are pleased to be in cooperation with you on this path we have set out to raise a conscious generation in the field of intellectual property rights. On September 25, 2015, at the Sustainable Development Summit, the member states of the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The “Own Your Idea” project, which we will realize as Destek Patent, supports the “8th Decent Work and Growth” and “9th Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” goals.
